- The Space and Naval Systems Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Charleston intends to issue solicitation N65236-06-R-0716 as a sole source commercial item contract pursuant to the test procedures under FAR 13.5 to Interad Limited, 18321 Parkway, Melfa, Virginia 23410. The procurement covers the purchase of three (3) wideband HF receivers to be used in a newly upgraded DoD system. The upgraded system uses proprietary developed software that will work with this particular receiver which has been tested and approved for use in this system. A Firm-Fixed Price type contract is anticipated. The FSC Code is 5895. The NAICS Code is 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may inquire about the process to have their products tested and evaluated for future procurements by submitting their comments in writing to Diane Kobs, Code 0217DK, Contract Specialist, at diane.kobs@navy.mil, no latter than 1400 local time (EST) on 8 NOV 05.
