- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Order under Basic Ordering Agreement, N00019-03-G-0003 with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC) for the non-recurring design efforts related to the improved main landing gear drag beam for incorporation into the MH-60R and MH-60S production aircraft. This effort includes the preparation of a Class I Engineering Change Proposal. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. As the sole developer, designer and manufacturer of the MH-60R and MH-60S aircraft SAC is the only contractor with the equipment, experience and technical data necessary to perform this effort. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
