- This is a Department of Defense public announcement of the performance decision made on 2 Nov 05 to contract for services, resulting from the streamlined competition performed in accordance with OMB Cirucular A-76, 29 May 2003, by the Department of the Air Force, Air Education and Training Command (AETC), 56th Fighter Wing, Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. The commercial activities to be contracted for are aircraft transient alert maintenance services, including but not limited to arrival services, ground handling, aricraft safety of flight inspection, maintenance, aircraft forms documentation, processing services, departure services, and maintenance of assigned powered and non-powered aerospace ground equipment. The incumbent service providers that have been impacted by this streamlined competition performance decision are approximately 26 active duty military personnel assigned to the 56th Maintenance Group, Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. Under Attachment B, Paragraph F2 of the Circular, no aspects of this streamlined competition performance decision is contestable. Interested parties may view the Streamlined Competition Forms accompanying this notice outlining the basis of the performance decision. Subsequent anncouncements relating to the proposed procurement action are anticipated within the next 90 calandar days.
