- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) and Federal Prison Camp (FPC) in Fort Dix, New Jersey. Services to be provided shall include inpatient/outpatient hospital services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is indefinite delivery/requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period with four 12 month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the base year and each option year period, if exercised, are 500 inpatient days and 1,000 outpatient visits. The solicitation will be available on or about December 15, 2005 and will be distributed solely through the General Service Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interest parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on or about February 13, 2005. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 622110. This solicitation is unrestricted. Faith-based and community based organizations can submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
