Description
This Amendment will include the following answers to questions submitted by a potential offeror: 1) What is the duration of purchase order/within what time period this 10000 oligonucleotides must be delivered? We will need all 10,000 oligonucleotides shipped within 30 days of receiving the purchase order. 2) Any purification is needed for these oligonucleotides? Purification should include deprotection and desalting in order to remove small molecule impurities. The Food and Drug Administration intends to award a Purchase Order for an E Coli Oligonucleotide Library on a competitive basis. The requested oligonucleotide library must satisfy each of the following requirements: 1.Include 10,000 custom 70-mer oligonucleotides. 2.Each oligonucleotide must be nomalized to a final concentration of 100 micromolar. 3.100 microliters of each normalized oligonucleotide should be shipped in 384-well plates. (these criteria require a minimum yield of 10 nanomoles for each oligonucleotide). 4.Any additional oligonucleotide synthesized (in excess of 10 nanomoles) should also be normalized to a concentration of 100 micromolar and also shipped in a separate set of 384-well plates. 5.EACH oligonucleotide synthesized must undergo a quality control assay such as capillary electrophoresis or mass spectrometry in order to verify its purity and integrity and the results of these assays must be provided when the oligonucleotides are shipped. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. NO REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. Interested offerors shall submit their capabilities statement along with their cost quotation, which will be considered if received by the tenth (10th) calendar day following the appearance of this announcement. Award will be made to the vendor who submits the lowest price that meets all specifications and requirements. All responses or questions regarding this posting must be in writing and can be sent via email to Apagan@oc.fda.gov. No phone calls will be accepted. An award will be made in ten (10) calendar days from the date of this notice. This procurement will be awarded as a simplified acquisition for commercial items in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5.
