- This is a synopsis for the installation of a government furnished boiler, at Pope Air Force Base, North Carolina. This project is restricted to Small Business Concerns. This project includes the installation of a low-pressure steam boiler and water tank for the Dinning Facility, building 352 with the government, Pope Air Force Base, North Carolina. The performance period is 30 calendar days. The magnitude of this project is from $25,000 to $100,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238220 and the size standard of $28.5 Million applies. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code and be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov. The contractor shall be registered in the Online Representations and Certifications Application – ORCA – at http://orca.bpn.gov/. The statement of work along with the request for quote will be provided at a scheduled site visit, for arrangements please call SSgt Fowler at (910) 394-5686. The solicitation due date is 7 Nov 05, 4:30 PM EST. It is imperative that interested parties review the website frequently for any updates/amendments. *UPDATE* The site visit is set for 14 Nov 2005 at 1300. The contractor will NOT be handling the boiler. The contractor will connect piping between the boiler and the steam system. More information will be included in the Statement of Work.
