- The Government intends to procure services and maintenance to include all parts, labor, travel and preventative maintenance services on fifty (50) Ohmeda, Drager, Drager Medical, and North American Drager Monitor Respiratory Gas, Anesthesia Apparatus Field, Ventilator Anesthesia Apparatus w/switch valve peep valve whdw, Anesthesia Unit. Monitor Naesthetic Agent Portable. Units are located onboard LHA 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7. The statement of work contained in solicitation N00189-06-T-0032 will detail the required services and maintenance. Services and maintenance required are follow-on to contract N00189-03-P-0198 that expired 30 September 2005. The base year period of performance is 01 December 2005 through 30 November 2006. The solicitation will include provisions for a base year with the option to procure services and maintenance for four additional one-year periods. The proposed requirement will be awarded under a Firm Fixed Price contract and will utilize procedures in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 09 November 2005 by downloading the documents at the FEDBIZOPS Website as follows: http://fbo.gov. The solicitation will contain clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. The applicable NAICS Code is 811219. The size standard is $6.0 Mil. All responsible sources must submit pricing and past performance data by 4:00 p.m. on the date the offer is due. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award. The prospective awardees must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov/ the offerors at anytime prior to award. Additionally, notice is provided that the government retains the right to add additional ships to this proposed contract in accordance with existing regulations.
