- Description
- Furnish one helicopter, MD 500/MD 530 or equal, contractor operated and maintained. Aircraft will be used by the National Marine Fisheries Service in support of marine debris surveys. The primary objective of the surveys is to intensively assess and identify regions of marine debris accumulation on the Big Island of Hawaii and Kauai. Project will be for approximately 150 hours of flight and will require emergency pop out floats. Project will run approximately December 2005 though April 2006. Contractor is required to be certified under 14 CFR and Chapter 135, Air Taxi Operators and Commercial Operators.
