Description
The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for designing and ultimately manufacturing turbine components to maximize the turbine system capacity and performance. Principal components of the work include conducting an analytical study to maximize turbine system capacity and performance including the spiral case, stay vane, wicket gate, and draft tube components (excludes turbine runner modifications). The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) code is 333611; the Product and Service Code is 3511 and the Size Standard for which is 1,000 employees. Solicitation packages are anticipated to be issued on or around November 15, 2005. Source selection criteria will be included in the solicitation; therefore, a detailed technical proposal will be required. This procurement is unrestricted. Offers are tentatively due on or around December 15, 2005, at the Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Regional Office, P.O. Box 61470, Attention: LC-3114, Boulder City, Nevada 89006-1470. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format, however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government's best interest. Therefore, it is the offeror's responsibility to check the website for solicitation posting and any changes to the solicitation. Actual solicitation amendments will be issued by electronic posting. Interested offerors, to include subcontractors and Dodge/Plan Rooms, are required to self-register their firm or office at the FBO to be included on the offeror list in order to receive notifications pertaining to the solicitation, or visit the FBO website after issuance download the solicitation and any subsequent amendments.
