Description

The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity has a requirement for manufacturing, construction, and the design of a modular labrotory which is proprietary to CPM. The office space must be in close proximity to USAMRAAs headquarters in Bldg 820, Fort Detrick. USAMRAA intends to negotiate a sole source contract all site work, utility installation, and small construction for several of CPMs modular labs.Contractor must possess CAD drawings of the facility, and be familiar with the facility design , material specifications and unique renovation requirements The intent is to make a sole source award pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document exists. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated capability within the established timeframe is invited to submit written notification to the Contracting Officer within fifteen calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in suffici ent detail to demonstrate the firms ability to provide the stated capability within the established timeframe. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer at: USAMRAA, ATTN: MCMR-AAA-P (Herb Payne), 820 Chandler Street, Frederick, MD 21702-5014. No telephone requests will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, USAMRAA will proceed with the sole source contract.
