- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The work consists of furnishing one tender boat with operating personnel. The tender will transport Government barges at job sites as may be directed by the Contracting Officer or his representative. Delivery of the boat shall be made afloat to the Engin eer in Charge, Bank Grading Unit, McKellar Lake, Memphis, TN, or as directed by the Engineer in Charge, within five (5) calendar days after receipt of notice to report to work. Due to the large file size of complete solicitation, it can NOT be loaded into FedBizOpps. However, the complete soliciation package can be found at the Memphis District Corps of Engineers website located at: http://www.mvm.usace.army.mil/contracting/ebs /AdvertisedSolicitations.asp. This combined synopsis/solicitation is being isssued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) with a closing date of 3 November 2005, 4:00PM CST. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement. Vendors are to submit a lump sum quotation to include all charges. Quotes may be s ubmitted in hard copy or electronically, either through regular mail, email, or facscimile. Regardless of method of delivery, it is the offeror's responsibility to ensure receipt of qutoes by the time and date stated herein. Vendors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award.
