- This is a synopsis for a service acquisition (reference FAR Parts 12,19, and 37). The 45th Contracting Squadron at Patrick AFB, intends to award an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) firm fixed price requirements Service contract for removal, furnishing and installation of flooring; such as carpeting, tile, and accessories, with a basic year and four one-year options. This requirement will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP)closing on 18 Nov 2005. This solicitation will be set aside for HUBZone competition. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) Code of 1752. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238330, with a size standard of $12 million dollars. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove, furnish and install flooring at various facilities throughout Patrick AFB IAW the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The RFP is by electronic transmission at http://www.eps.gov. Faxed and telephonic requests for this solicitation package will not be honored. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award (See Internet site: http://www.ccr.dlsc.dla.mil). It is mandatory to obtain a DUNS number prior to registering in CCR by calling Dun & Bradstreet (1-800-333-0505). All responsible HUBZone sources may submit a proposal and shall be considered for award. Award of this project will be made using Price performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) Evaluations. Both past performance and price will be evaluated, and award may be made to other than the lowest price. There is no minimum guaranteed amount for the basic contract or the option periods. The estimated maximum amount for the life of the contract is $3 million dollars. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS SOLICTATION, WHETHER EFORE OR AFTER RFP CLOSING, WITH NO OBLIGATIONS TO THE OFFEROR BY THE GOVERNMENT.
