- THIS REQUIREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL AND ECONOMICALLY DISAVANTAGED BUSINESS (SEDB) CONCERNS. AN ELIGIBLE SEDB CONCERN IS A SMALL BUSINESS EXPRESSLY CERTIFIED BY THE SMALL BUSNESS ADMINISTRATION (SBA) FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE SBA'S PROGRAM AND WHICH MEETS SUCH CRITERIA AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION OF THIS OFFER. ALL FIRMS REQUESTING THIS PACKAGE MUST SUBMIT THEIR (8a) CERTIFICATE FROM THE U.S. SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION WITH THEIR PROPOSAL. DTFASO-06-R-00001, Airport Surveillance Detection Radar (ASDE), Site Preparation at four Remote Unit sites, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Work under this contract will consist of site preparation for planned ASDE Multilateration Remote Units. This will include but not limited to installation and construction of government furnished material (GFM) antenna support structures, both fiberglass fold down mast and steel high mast with lowering ring, reinforced concrete foundations, construction of concrete equipment pads, installation of obstruction lights, gavel surfacing, installation of power and communication cables, and any other work as specified in specifications and drawings.Contract performance time is 60 calendar days. Magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $150,000. Solicitation mailing date is November 10, 2005, with proposals due December 8, 2005.
