- This is a notice of intent to award on a sole-source basis for the commercial items in accordance with FAR Part 12 procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice; a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Citizenship & Immigration Services (CIS) intends to contract with Miami Beach Convention Center, 1901 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach , FL 33139 for convention center use for 12 event dates between December 13, 2205 and September 30, 2006. This contract is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Miami Beach Convention Center under the authority 41 U.S.S. 253 ( c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 unless additional sources are located. This notice is being solicited on a sole-source basis.
