- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation FA8601-06-T-0006, is a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-07. This Acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. This RFP has one line item. The item being acquired is : Medical Journal Subscriptions. Subscriptions for all available Professional Medical Journals and Newsletters for care of patients and professional needs of Doctors, nurses and Technicians (approximately 280 titles). Subscriptions must include an on line service (NO EXTRA COST). The on line service must also have cross journals data base search capability (subscription titles listed in attachment). The period of performance for this contract is one year from date of award. FOB point is Destination. Solicitation Provision FAR 52-212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition. Evaluation will be based on overall Best Value to the Government, Technical Capabilities, price, and Past Performance.
