Description
NSN 7R-5855-99-744-0348, Qty 1 EA, Delivery FOB Origin--The Naval Inventory Control Point-Philadelphia will be soliciting a proposal for Integrated Performance Based Logistics (PBL) support of various weapons systems for AV8B Harrier including the Joint Program Office (JPO) allies Italy and Spain, from The Boeing Company. This support includes asset repair management (spares and consumables), Delivery Response Time, obsolescence management, maintainability, reliability improvements, warehousing, configuration management, technology insertion, transportation, and other innovative supply support solutions. Proposed contract length is a ten-year period that consists of a five-year base and a five-year option. Boeing will be required to establish CORE capability IAW Code 10, U.S.C. 2646, through partrnerships with NADEPs in North Island, Cherry Point, and Jacksonville. The numerous AV8B systems covered under this requirement are a combination of electromechanical, avionics, electrical, and structural components in support of armament and airframe parts. There are approximately 1,050 NSNs. The proposed PBL will consist of three phase-in periods for the various systems within the first two years of the base period. As the prime aircraft manufacturer of the Harrier, Boeing is considered the only source capable of performing the full range of integrated program support requirements., See Note 22*****
