- Description
- The Government intends to award a competitive contract for the procurement of calibration services for sewer meters at the Norfolk Naval Base, Oceana, Little Creek, Ft. Story, Dam Neck, Yorktown, Norfolk Naval Shipyard and St. Juliens Creek. The types of meters are (a) 14?Fisher-Porter, (b) 20? Fisher-Porter, (c) 10? Fisher-Porter, (d) 16? Fisher Porter, (e) Brooks Meters, (f) Fisher-Porter meters, and (g) Fisher-Porter flow recorders. This requirement will consist of one base year and four option years. Also, this procurement will utilize Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This office will no longer issue a hard copy of the Request For Quote (RFQ); therefore, a copy can be obtained from website http://www.neco.navy.mil. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at https://www.bpn.gov. The RFQ should be posted on or before 9 Nov 05.
