Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement, F3G1HB5298A100 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-06. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 532120. The size standard for a small business under this NAICS code is one that is equal to or less than $21,500,000. This Request for Quotation is being submitted as a restricted solicitation open to small businesses. This is a commercial purchase. CLIN 0001 ? 1 ea ? Lease of Single Wide, Offices at each end, open in the middle [~6 PCs and a Comm Closet {Routers,etc.}] 12 ft by 60 ft (Trailer #4), Period 15 Nov 05-12 May 06; CLIN 0002 ? 1ea- Lease of Double Wide- 2 Offices at one end, rest of trailer open[~14 PCs, shredder and copier] 24 ft by 60 ft (Trailer #2), Period of Lease is 15 Nov 05 ? 12 May 06; CLIN 0003 - 1 ea ? Lease of Single Wide, Office at Each end,open in the middle [17 PCs and a VTC system] 12 ft by 60 ft (Trailer # 1), Periof of Lease 1 Dec 05-12 May 06; CLIN 0004 - 2 ea Single Wide, Office at Each end,open in the middle [~10 PCs] 12 ft by 60 ft (trailers # 3 & 5), Period of Lease: 1 Dec 05-12 May 06; CLIN 0005 - 1 ea Double Wide, Offices at each end, open in the middle [~48 PCs, shredder and copier] 24 ft by 60 ft (Trailer #7), Period of Lease 1 Dec 05-12May 06; General Requirements applicable to all trailers. A. Circuit Breaker/Distribution Panels. 1. All Circuit Breaker/Distribution Panels will be 120/208 3 phase. This is due to most of the trailers being powered by a 3-phase generator required by other equipment in the bullpen. 2. All Circuit Breaker/Distribution Panels will have 42 spaces. 3. The contractor will ensure that spare breaker spaces are left in EACH Circuit Breaker/Distribution Panel to allow for expansion. B. Circuit Breakers and circuits. 1. Unless otherwise noted in layout diagrams or in Section 3, all circuit breakers and circuits will be rated for 30 Amps. C. HVAC (Motors) 1. HVAC motors will be rated for 208 3 phase power. D. Receptacles. 1. Unless otherwise noted in layout diagrams or in Section 3, all receptacles will be duplex, Face Shape Standard, Standard NEMA, 20A, 125V, 2-Pole, 3-Wire Grounding. EXCEPTION. On a wall receptacle that is on a single dedicated 30 amp circuit and is NOT a GFCI application, the contractor will use a similar receptacle rated for a 30 Amp application. 2. When required, GFCI wall receptacles will be Commercial Specification Grade GFCI Duplex Receptacle, 20A, 125V, 2-Pole, 3-Wire Grounding. 3. When required for floor applications, above floor receptacles will be enclosed within a cover similar to a Steel City SFH-40. We do not require an office quality enclosure. Main objective is to protect the receptacles. 4. At a minimum, wall receptacles will be placed every 4 ft along the wall. E. Layout. 1. No two adjacent receptacles will be on the same circuit. 2. Office circuits will be on at least 2 different circuits. 3. For singlewide trailers, lighting will be on at least 2 separate circuit breakers. 4. For doublewide trailers, lighting will be on at least 3 separate circuit breakers. 5. For wall receptacles, the contractor will use wire molding and risers with all wall receptacles installed 24? from the floor. F. Lighting. 1. Load was calculated based on square footage time 4 VA (not the 3 VA as called for in 2002 NEC). 2. Emergency lighting will be battery type and installed In Accordance With (IAW) appropriate Life Safety and NEC 2002 requirements. G. Smoke Detectors. 1. Install Smoke Detectors versus Fire Detectors IAW applicable life safety and NEC 2002 requirements. 2. Trailer Requirements. A. Trailer 1, Singlewide, Power Source: Generator Power. 1. Required Circuit Breaker/Distribution Panel. Based on current amperage estimates and the potential for increased requirements, request at least a 300 Amp circuit breaker/distribution panel be installed. Panel will be populated with the required number of circuit breakers at the appropriate amperage to support requirements as specified in the following sub-sections. 2. Expected amperage, hertz and wattage: 228 amps, 60 hertz and 31680 watts. 3. Required phase: Single and 3 phase. 4. Required voltage: 120/208 VAC. 5. Location and type of electrical receptacles: See trailer diagrams for location. 6. Required number of circuits: As required to support the number of receptacles dictated on the attached diagram and as dictated by current NEC. 7. Comments: None. B. Trailer 2, Doublewide, Power Source: Generator Power. 1. Required Circuit Breaker/Distribution Panel. Based on current amperage estimates and the potential for increased requirements, request at least a 400 Amp circuit breaker/distribution panel be installed. Panel will be populated with the required number of circuit breakers at the appropriate amperage to support requirements as specified in the following sub-sections. 2. Expected amperage, hertz and wattage: 311 amps, 60 hertz and 47410 watts. 3. Required phase: Single and 3 phase. 4. Required voltage: 120/208 VAC. 5. Location and type of electrical receptacles: See trailer diagrams for location. 6. Required number of circuits: As required to support the number of receptacles dictated on the attached diagram and as dictated by current NEC. 7. Comments: None C. Trailer 3, Singlewide, Power Source: Generator Power. 1. Required Circuit Breaker/Distribution Panel. Based on current amperage estimates and the potential for increased requirements, request at least a 225 Amp circuit breaker/distribution panel be installed. Panel will be populated with the required number of circuit breakers at the appropriate amperage to support requirements as specified in the following sub-sections. 2. Expected amperage, hertz and wattage: 174 amps, 60 hertz and 25740 watts. 3. Required phase: Single and 3 phase. 4. Required voltage: 120/208 VAC. 5. Location and type of electrical receptacles: See trailer diagrams for location. 6. Required number of circuits: As required to support the number of receptacles dictated on the attached diagram and as dictated by current NEC. 7. Comments: None. D. Trailer 4, Singlewide, Power Source: Commercial Shore Power. 1. Required Circuit Breaker/Distribution Panel. Based on current amperage estimates and the potential for increased requirements, request at least a 225 Amp circuit breaker/distribution panel be installed. Panel will be populated with the required number of circuit breakers at the appropriate amperage to support requirements as specified in the following sub-sections. 2. Expected amperage, hertz and wattage: 189 amps, 60 hertz and 33990 watts. 3. Required phase: Single. 4. Required voltage: 110/220 VAC. 5. Location and type of electrical receptacles: See trailer diagrams for location. 6. Required number of circuits: Note 2 dedicated 30A circuits in Comm Closet. Rest as required to support the number of receptacles dictated on the attached diagram and as dictated by current NEC. 7. Comments. Even though trailer 4 will use commercial shore power, a 3 phase panel will be used. E. Trailer 5, Singlewide, Power Source: Generator Power. 1. Required Circuit Breaker/Distribution Panel. Based on current amperage estimates and the potential for increased requirements, request at least a 225 Amp circuit breaker/distribution panel be installed. Panel will be populated with the required number of circuit breakers at the appropriate amperage to support requirements as specified in the following sub-sections. 2. Expected amperage, hertz and wattage: 172 amps, 60 hertz and 25520 watts. 3. Required phase: Single and 3 phase. 4. Required voltage: 120/208 VAC. 5. Location and type of electrical receptacles: See trailer diagrams for location. 6. Required number of circuits: As required to support the number of receptacles dictated on the attached diagram and as dictated by current NEC. 7. Comments: None. F. Trailer 6, Doublewide, Power Source: Generator Power. 1. Required Circuit Breaker/Distribution Panel. Based on current amperage estimates and the potential for increased requirements, request at least a 450 Amp circuit breaker/distribution panel be installed. Panel will be populated with the required number of circuit breakers at the appropriate amperage to support requirements as specified in the following sub-sections. 2. Expected amperage, hertz and wattage: 383 amps, 60 hertz and 55330 watts. 3. Required phase: Single and 3 phase. 4. Required voltage: 120/208 VAC. 5. Location and type of electrical receptacles: See trailer diagrams for location. 6. Required number of circuits: As required to support the number of receptacles dictated on the attached diagram and as dictated by current NEC. 7. Comments: None. Quotes should be in the following format; price for each line item independently and price for combined line items. Award Basis: Best Value.
