- Description
- The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Political-Military Affairs has a requirement for providing field and staff training to develop military capabilities for global peacekeeping operations. The Global Peace Operations Initiative (GPOI) is a presidential initiative that addresses the worldwide need for greater capacity to supply trained soldiers and stability operations police to take part in peace support operations, including United Nations Peacekeeping Operations and non-UN peace support operations. The Government intends to make multiple award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contracts. Task orders will be issued on a firm fixed price labor and cost reimbursement supplies basis. The period of performance is expected to be for a base year and four-(4) one-year options. The place of performance is worldwide. The Contractor(s) awarded a contract shall have the appropriate security clearances required prior to award, which will be detailed in the solicitation. The Government intends to release this solicitation on or about December 1, 2005. No hardcopies of the solicitation will be mailed out.
