- Description
- The AMC Contracting Flight intends to issue a sole source contract to Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), 5501 Backlick Road, Suite 300, Springfield, VA 22151 to provide GDSS/GDSS II Software development, operations and maintenance of the C2IPS legacy systems, and termination of the C2IPS system. The Contractor is to provide all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform the functions of system management; administration and maintenance; configuration control; program planning; technology insertion; Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) compliance; and documentation required to operate and support GDSS/GDSS 2 throughout development, migration, and operations. The resultant contract will be a labor-hour contract with a base year and one option year. Period of Performance is, base year - 1 September 2005 through 31 August 2006 and option year one - 1 September 2006 through 31 August 2007. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541511. This requirement is sole source pursuant to 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) due to duplication of costs and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements.
