Description

The NETCOM/9th Army Signal Command has a requirement for non-personal services for local telephone exchange services for Fort Gordon, GA. The proposed contract is for a base year with four one-year options. The local exchange services provider, cert ified by the state of Georgia, shall provide local commercial communications service for Fort Gordon, GA, which shall include as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial subscriber lines, digital access trunks, local exchange digital (ISDN PRI) trunks, transport channels, off premise extensions, foreign exchange trunks, and number portability. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered. Sources responding to this requirement must indicate in writing, whether they are a large, small, disadvantaged and /or women-owned business. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under SIC code 4813 with size standard of 1500 employees  NAICS 517110. This requirement shall be a commercial, fixed price type c ontract. Solicitation is anticipated to be released on or about 28 Oct 2005. The solicitation can be viewed and downloaded from the Army Single Face to Industry web site: https://acquisition.army.mil, select ITEC4-West as the contracting office. The Government will conduct a pre-proposal conference and site visit for Fort Gordon at 10:00 AM on 9 Nov 2005 in Bldg 34500, 245 Oclub Drive (Officers Club) Fort Gordon, GA. It is recommended that all prospective offerors attend this conference. Offerors planning to attend are required to notify the Contracting Officer listed below, in writing, of all attendees names (not to exceed three per company).
