- Description
- The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) proposes to extend the period of performance under Contract No. PBGC01-CT-05-0738 with ExcellerateHRO. Under the contract, ExcellerateHRO is providing actuarial support during a transition period as PBGC assumes trusteeship of the US Airways Retirement Plans. These services will consist of the calculation of estimated PBGC termination benefits and researching data issues. An extension to the contract for twelve additional months is necessary to complete the transition. In view of the ExcellerateHROs inherent knowledge with the complexities of the US Airways plans, PBGC policies and procedures, and integrated information system developed as the plan actuary over the past 10 years, ExcellerateHRO is uniquely qualified to perform these additional services in a timely manner.
