- Description
- The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to award sole source procurement to SOPRIS West under authority of FAR 6.302 . SOPRIS West in correlation with the Colorado Department of Education/Special Education Services Unit developed several training sessions which provide the standards that meet DoDEA's standards and requirements for the "Individuals with Disabilities Act of 2004 (IDEA)" and the "No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act" which mandates early literacy practices in Pre-Kindergarten through third grade with continuity. This training is required during fall 2005 to meet the requirement. This is not a request for competitive quotes. However, any party that believes it is capable of meeting DoDEA's requirement as stated herein may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to perform the requirement. All submissions must be received by the response date and time of this notice. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. Response Date: 1:00 p.m. EST, Nov 7, 2005.
