Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541611, the SIC code is 8742. This requirement is scheduled to begin 13 November 2005 through 19 November 2005. Contractors must be certified to provide required services. The contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, materials, travel, lodging and other services and expenses as may be required to provide services. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small businesses. U.S. Naval Hospital Okinawa Japan requires a complete inspection of its facility (approx 250,000 SF) to ensure compliance with the NFPA 101. The contractor shall visit the facility and conduct an onsite survey. At the conclusion of the survey contractors shall provide an updated Statement of Conditions (SOC) as well as a software package to maintain the Statement of Conditions. The contractor shall also provide two (2) days of training specifically targeting the entire Environment of Care committee. Contractors must have extensive knowledge of the NFPA 101 and all applicable referenced publications, and must have extensive knowledge and prior experience in completing the SOC. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to receive an award. Interested parties shall provide detailed information on proposed products, which clearly meet the requirements stated above. The Government will award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) Technical capability of the services quoted to meet the Government requirement (including submission of descriptive literature); (2) Price; all to be submitted with quotation. No telephone requests will be accepted, faxed and e-mail quotes will be accepted. Contractors are responsible for obtaining any and all amendments or additional information. Quotes and all pertinent data (descriptive literature, specifications, etc.) must be received by 3 November 2005. Include company name, point of contact, address, phone number, Duns Number, Tax ID, business size, and Solicitation Number.
