- The U.S. Army, Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command - Picatinny intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Turn Key Systems, Highland Village, TX, under the approved authority of FAR 6.302-1. This procurement is for the installation, integration and initiation of a modern loss-in-weight feeder, as well as, an update to computer controls for existing equipment. The contractor will install, integrate, and start up the new loss in weight feeder and perform associated installation and control activities. A new independent controller for (3) three separate feeders are necessary. The Contractor shall fabricate, design and install associated electrical panels for the install of a Smart Control Module (SCM) panel. Pneumatic control panel(s) shall be fabricated, designed and installed. Installation and rework of existing and new conduit and pneumatic lines will be required. Period of performance is (8) eight weeks after date of contract. This action is in the best interest of the government and will allow for the same supplier, with unique knowledge, of the previously installed systems.
