Description

This modification clarifies the anticipated proposal due date if one is requested and provides a list of interested parties. The following paragraph is added to the end of Section II Statement of Objective/Needs: Due to the Federal Budget Continuing Resolution and other issues, funds have not been secured for this Counter-MANPADS MDT Assessment. PROPOSALS ARE NOT BEING REQUESTED AT THIS TIME. IF YOUR WHITE PAPER IS SELECTED FOR CONSIDERATION AND FUNDS BECOME AVAILABLE YOU WILL BE CONTACTED BY 14 NOVEMBER 2005 TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL. A DATE AND TIME FOR PROPOSAL SUBMISSION WILL BE PROVIDED WHEN CONTACTED, BUT PROPOSALS WILL BE DUE APPROXIMATELY THREE WEEKS AFTER BEING REQUESTED. The following paragraph is added to Section III Additional Information: (I) Interested Vendors List (IVL): Based on responses to the BAA posted 26 September 2005, a list of interested parties has been prepared and posted as a separate attachment.
