Description

The 42nd Contracting Squadron located at Maxwell AFB, AL intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to WEST PUBLISHING CORPORATION, DBA, Thomson/West, 610 Opperman Drive, St Paul, MN 55123 for law journals and CD-Rom publications. No solicitation documents will be issued or made available as a result of this notice. This requirement is a sole source procurement under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This will be a firm, fixed price purchase order. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, if there are other businessess that can satisfy this requirement, they must respond to this notice with supporting documentation of their capabilities before 2:00 pm CST on 31 October 2005. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
