Kingsbridge Rd., 9th Floor, Room 9B-16 Bronx, NY 10468 POC: Greg Vogt DESCRIPTION: This solicitation is 100% set aside for Small Business. The Bronx VA Medical Center (VISN3) Business Service Center intends to procure maintenance service for Medical Gas at the St. Albans Medical Center. This solicitation is for the New York Harbor Healthcare System located at 179th St. & Linden Boulevard St., St. Albans, NY 11425. The contractor shall provide medical gas system certification testing and preventive maintenance program. Contractor shall provide all labor, parts, travel, materials, equipment, tools, supplies and qualified supervision necessary to repair, maintain, and inspect, in accordance with the specifications. All testing/preventative maintenance needs to be coordinated to ensure that all area representatives are contacted prior to the scheduled dates to ensure that tasks do not interfere with hospital operations and the project is completed on a timely basis. Site visit and inspection is highly recommended. Bidders must contact the Supervisor, General Engineer Mr. Ernie Monteleone at 718-526-1000 ext 8550 to schedule an appointment for a site visit. All Contractors are required to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to being awarded a contract. Contractors are responsible for the accuracy of information added to CCR. To register go to http://www.ccr.gov/. The solicitation Number is RFQ10N3-041-06. This contract will be a Firm Fixed-Price contract. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this Acquisition is 811219. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. The anticipated award date is 11/15/05. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government: Telephone or faxed inquiries will not be accepted.
