- S Y N O P S I S --- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, plans to issue Invitation For Bid Number (IFB) BRY-0044 for the construction of an Administration Building (approximately 9,459 square feet) at the Federal Prison Camp Bryan located on 1100 Ursuline Street in Bryan, Texas, 77803. This new building will replace an existing Administration Building (approximately 14,900 square feet) which will need to be demolished by the successful contractor. The successful contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and tools to perform the work. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation will be available on or about November 23, 2005 with an anticipated bid opening date of January 13, 2006. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBIZOPPS) website http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the up-to-date information about this acquisition and are encouraged to monitor and register their company on the INTERESTED VENDOR LIST (IVL). This is a 100% small business set-aside. See Number Note 1. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
