Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Tetracore, Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106(b), Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The object of this requirement is to provide services to complete EDRN mtDNA sequence analysis. The results of market research has resulted in a determination that Tetracore, Inc. appears to be the only source for this service. The anticipated award date of this order is on or about twenty (20) days from the date of this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. Interested parties that believe they can satisfy the requirement to provide to noted system may provide evidence to so indicate no later than the response date noted above. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed purchase order is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. For information, call the POC identified below.
