- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION Move contents of the existing Sequoia National Forest Supervisor?s Office Building located at 900 W. Grand Avenue, Porterville, CA, TEAMS Office located at 351 D Street, Porterville, CA, and Air Resources Office (one room) located at 480 N. Henrahan Road, Porterville, CA between 12/09/2005 and 12/12/2005 to the new Sequoia National Forest Supervisor?s Office building at 1839 South Newcomb Street, Porterville, CA, RFQ-S-05-SS-13-05-55 due 11/18/2005. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation RFQ-S-05-SS-13-05-55 and offers are to be received not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on 11/18/2005. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-26. If you are a contractor under GSA contract, include the contract number and whether or not you are quoting the GSA contract price. Following is description of the services required: Contents include but not limited to desks, modular desk units, chairs, filing systems, file cabinets, computers, office machines, tables, boxed wall bulletin boards, appliances (refrigerators and microwave ovens), sofas, picnic tables, and boxes containing file and desk contents. All contents will be labeled and moved to the appropriate room located in the new building. Any units requiring disassembly will be reassembled at the new location. Any excess furniture will be labeled for move to a designated area at the Forest Service Warehouse at 480 N. Henrahan Road, Porterville. Successful offeror shall provide approximately 2000 moving boxes with labels to the 900 W. Grand Avenue location not later than 11/29/2005. Pre-work meeting with the successful offeror will be held on 11/29/2005 at 1000 at the Sequoia National Forest Supervisor?s Office located at 900 W. Grand Avenue, Porterville, CA. Pre-bid tour of both locations will be held on 11/08/2005 at 1000. Prospective offerors are to meet at the current Sequoia National Forest Supervisor?s Office, 900 W. Grand Avenue, Porterville, CA. Please confirm attendance with Maureen Santos at 559-784-1500, Ext. 1111. This acquisition is set aside for small business concerns, NAICS Code 484210. Small Business Size Standard $21.5 million. The following provisions as applicable are incorporated by reference with the same effect as if they were in full text: (1) FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items. (2) FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation ? Commercial Items. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government?s requirements; past performance; and price. Technical and past performance when combined is of equal importance when compared to price. (3) FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items. (4) FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items. (5) FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders ? Commercial Items, which includes 52.219-6, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-3, and 52.232-33. (6) Offerors shall provide completed copies of FAR 52.212-3 (Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items) with their quote. The Offeror is required to provide their Contractor?s DUN?s Number and required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR).
