- Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR) and US Army Communications-Electronics Command (USACECOM) invite interested members of the Communciations-Electronics Battery industry to a meeting at which the Government will present its plans for future military battery technology and acquisition initiatives. This meeting is primarily focused on nonrechargeable batteries, but may be of interest to companies involved in the rechargeable military battery market. Information to be presented will include: plans for future chemistry technologies; standardization of battery features; potential acquisition strategies, to include an update on qualification program requirements. There will be opportunity for the industry participants to ask questions, and to provide feedback based on the Government's plans. Meeting is to be held on 10 November 2005, 9 am to 12 noon. Location will be Defense Supply Center Richmond, Building 33, Jolly Elk Room (entry from Center Restaurant).
