- Description
- The Data Concentrator Unit (DCU) is a component of the Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) under Contract USZA95-02-D-0006 that functions as an analog to digital converter for the MH-47G & MH-60 series aircraft. The definition of the electrical interfaces, as well as signal sources, receivers, and parameters is required information for use by maintenance personnel, technical publication developers, and hardware/software integration contractors. This information will be consolidated in an Electrical Interface Control Document (EICD). The EICD was originally developed by SCI, the intended source, under Contract USZA95-02-D-0006 and will require update to address aircraft specific connectors, pins, wire types and characteristics. Additionally, sensor manufacturer and signal characteristics (parameters and logic) are required input to the originally delivered document. This change will be a modification against the existing contract. Delivery of the revised EICD is required 3 months after award. Pursuant to FAR 6.302(a)(1), the intended source is Sanmina-SCI, 13000 South Memorial Parkway, PO Box 1000, Huntsville, AL 35807. Firms that recognize and can produce this revised document are encouraged to identify themself to the contracting officer who can provide additional information regarding this requirement. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. See Note 22.
