- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation for small business set-aside utilizing the associated NAICS code 561720. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clau ses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular. Provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall include with their offer a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. Clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders Commercial Items, are applicable to this acquisition. The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ), W912P5-06-T-0002, for the acquisition of services including all labor, management, supervision, tools, equipment, transportation, and supplie s necessary to provide janitorial services at designated spaces which will include, but are not limited to, halls, restrooms, offices, work areas, entranceways, lobbies, and storage areas. The object of this schedule is to insure that the facilities are p resentable to the general public and are maintained in a clean, sanitary and safe manner at all times. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the base period of 1 DEC 2005 through 30 SEP 2006 with four option years. For security a nd safety purposes, the following requirements are included: 1) Provide name of primary cleaner and names of alternates, 2) Cleaning must be completed between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 3) Material Safety Data Sheets are re quired for all products/chemicals used for cleaning and stored at site. These sheets will be submitted to Contract Representative prior to commencement of work. Delivery date for goods and services is not later than 1 December 2005 to the following address: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Nashville District, Cumberland River Operations Center, 1180 Cinder Road, Old Hickory, Tennessee 37138.
