- The US Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command plans on acquiring up to 6000 each Starter, 24V, P/O Tactical Quiet Generators, MEP-802A, MEP-812A, MEP-803A and MEP-813A, NSN 2920-01-219-8200. The type of contract shall be a 5-y ear Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type vehicle with requirements placed by individual delivery orders. This item is a vital component to the successful operation of the 5 and 10 kW Tactical Quiet Generators (TQG). The Starter meets spec ific engine and generator performance and interface requirements to satisfy the operational requirements of MEP-802A, MEP-812A, MEP-803A and MEP-813A TQG generators. This requirement shall be acquired on a sole source basis from Mitsubishi Corporation (3N 649) through an authorized distributor. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitut es the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposal in accordance with Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-06. The type of contract shall be a 5-ye ar Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type vehicle with requirements placed by individual delivery orders. Shipments shall be FOB Destination to New Cumberland Army Depot, Pennsylvania. The requirements of FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212-3, 5 2.212-4 and 52.212-5 shall be incorporated in the solicitation. Proposals, along with completed provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Item, shall be electronically forwarded not later than close of business 4 Novemb er 2005 to: Thomas S.
