- Description
- Aerojet Ordnance Tennesse, Jonesborough, is currently making several iterations of 5.56mm and 7.62mm tungsten alloy bullets for an ARDEC development project. The requirements for the .338 penetrator projectile are very similar. They will utilize the same process methodologies and process equipment. Some of the tooling is the same. This effort is a follow-on to existing 5.56mm and 7.62mm efforts. Aerojet Ordnance has already developed some of the necessary tooling and process parameters they are uniquely positioned to rapidly delivery the required quantities of penetrators.
