- Description
- The U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC is in need of a Ceramic Nano-powder reactor for installation at Picatinny Arsenal. In order to assess industrial capability, A Sources Sought (W15QKN-05-X-0710) was issued in July of this year. Tekna Plasma Siystems was the only respondent to that request. The Tekna response indicated that they were aware of the complex nature of the Army's needs, and that they had an off-the-shelf system that could satisfy those needs with only minor adjustments to their design. Additionally, they have provided the Army with a very similar system that has been highly successful in providing a variety of metallic nanopowders for defense applications over the past year.
