Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The California National Guard has an immediate requirement for a long-term lease of fourteen (14) Box Vans. Box vans must be 2003 model or newer, 24 feet in length, and equipped with a l ift gate. LEASE PERIOD: 1 November 2005 thru 30 September 2006 with four (4) option years. Mileage estimate: 2500 per month per vehicle. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES: All preventative maintenance to include tires and brakes; Yearly registration on all long-perm vehicles; Safety inspections prior to delivery and Replacement vehicle at no cost when problems are reported. GOVT RESPONSIBILITIES: Daily driver inspections with problems reported to contractor immediately. All offers must include mileage ra tes and delivery / pickup fees if applicable. A 30 day cancellation notice applies. This purchase is subject to the availability of funds. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Regi stration (CCR). Quotes are due NLT 27 October 2005 by 1400 hours at USPFO for California, Contracting Office, HWY 1, BLDG 633, PO Box 8104, San Luis Obispo, CA 93405.
