- The work consists of construction of streambank stabilization using rock riprap on Whetstone Road. The major items of work are: Clearing & Grubbing-1 lump sum; Protective Cover-1.2 acres; Mobilization & Demobilization-1 lump sum; Excavation, Common-1,516 C.Y.; Earthfill-560 C.Y.; Rock Riprap-2,415 tons; Geotextile-5,346 S.Y.; and Concrete Grout-46 C.Y. This work is to be completed within 39 calendar days. Estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. NRCS is issuing this request for quotation only electronically. Interested parties may access the request for quotation at http://www.fbo.gov on or about November 3, 2005.
