- Services to Overhaul and Repair of controllable pitch propeller system (servo) pumps that are used on Coast Guard 399? WAGB Polar Class Icebreakers. The U.S. Coast Guard ELC anticipates conducting negotiation with Sulzer Escher-Wyss and its authorized repair facilities. Total estimated quantity per year for the pumps is 4 each. Contract period of performance will be a base year with four (4) one (1) year options. Contractor will provide all labor and material required to perform the following work on the pumps: (1) receive; (2) disassemble; (3) inspect; (4) provide a condition report; (5) repair; (6) reassemble; (7) test; and (8) preserve and install in a reusable shipping container. All efforts shall be in accordance with Coast Guard Technical Pub 243-0100 (43 95), MIL-PRF-16173E, Corrosion Preventive Compound Solvent Cutback, Cold Application dated 1/93.Controllable Pitch Propeller System, Escher-Wyss. In addition, contractors shall conduct all work and tests in accordance with Coast Guard Standard Repair Specification R-245-0446, dated 10/04. Delivery F.O.B. Destination to Commanding Officer, Receiving Room-Bldg. #88, U.S. Coast Guard YARD, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore MD 21226. Delivery will be 180 calendar days after Coast Guard approval of Inspection Report. NOTICE TO OFFERORS CONCERNING REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS: This solicitation contains FAR Clause 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration and FAR Provision 52.204-8, Annual Representations and Certifications. In accordance with FAR 4.1201 prospective contractors are required to submit annual representations and certifications via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. All information necessary to submit a responsive offer shall be included in the solicitation package. The solicitation package shall be available for download by accessing FedBizOpps at www.fedbizopps.gov, on or about February 2, 2006.
