- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION Heat Pumps/Environmental Control Units(ECU) (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written quotes (oral quotes will not be accepted) on RFQ reference number FE4626-5271-0010. The clause at FAR 52.211-6, Brand name or equal applies to this requirement. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05. (iv) This procurement is being issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333415 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. (v) This combined synopsis and solicitation is for the purchase of Heat Pumps/ECUs for the Malmstrom AFB Maintenance Operations Squadron for use in a contingency training environment. CLIN 0001 – 10 EA. Heat pump units or environmental control units: - 5 ton heating capacity, - standard efficiency, - convertible configuration, - 3 phase micro processor controls, - 3 phase 23 kW electic heater, - 3 phase standard condenser coil with hail guard, - 3 phase standard panel/2" pleated filters. Mfr: TRANE, Part #: WSCO60A3RJA -OR EQUAL- (vi) Delivery requested no later than 45 days after receipt of order. FOB: Destination to 341 CES/CEX 5 80th St. N Malmstrom AFB, MT 59402 (vii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (viii) Quotes will be evaluated on price, price related factors and ability to meet minimum requirements and specifications. (ix) The offeror must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications – Commercial Items. (x) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation.
