Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS), in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard Bremerton, WA is soliciting for a firm, fixed price, supply type contract to be negotiated on a sole source basis with Electric Boat for twenty-three (23) light assemblies. Eleven (11) will consist of low voltage LED Clusters with cable, wet mateable connector, and a light dispersion of 20 degrees. The other twelve (12) will also consist of low voltage LED clusters with cable, wet mateable connector, but have a light dispersion of 8 degrees. Electric Boat is the OEM of these assemblies that are part of a major electrical systems onboard the USS Jimmy Carter. The assemblies are required on or before 23 January 2006. The solicitation will be issued on or about 25 October 2005 with a closing date of 31 October 2005. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Proposed contract to be procured using FAR Parts 12 & 13.5. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
