- This requirement is for a firm fixed-price, three year (one year basic plus two ordering periods), Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity contract for the manufacture of the Ice Detector applicable to the C-5 Aircraft. This requirement is sole source to Rosemount Aerospace Inc. (Cage 59885), doing business as Goodrich Sensor Systems, at 14300 Judicial Rd., Burnsville MN 55306-4849. Authority, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), ?Supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements?, applies. Contract minimum is 1 EA. and maximum is 39 EA. for the basic year. Contract minimum is 1 EA. and maximum is 14 EA. for both ordering periods. NSN: 6340-01-162-7389UC; P/N: 871BN4; NOUN: Detector, Ice; DIMENSION: Height 9 in. X Width 3.250 in. X Depth 2.27 in. and Weight approximately 3 lb.; FORM/FUNCTION: electronic ice detector probe subassembly; MATERIAL: aluminum. Delivery of production articles is 189 days ARO contract. PLACE of DELIVERY: Robins AFB GA 31098. The approximate solicitation issue date will be NOV 4, 2005 with an approximate response date of DEC 4, 2005.
