- The Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO), Washington, DC, intends to award a sole source contract to the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), Oakbrook Terrace, IL under FAR 6.302-1. JCAHO will provide accreditation services for all VA Medical Centers in the 21 VISNs (Veterans Integrated Service Network), to include: Hospital, Ambulatory Care, Laboratory, Long Term Care, Behavioral Health Care, Home Care, Opioid Treatment Programs and Dispensing Pharmacy Services. In addition, JCAHO will provide manuals/publications in both printed and automated format. The NAICS code is 813920. Interested parties with the capability to provide the required services should submit a capability statement in writing to the Senior Contract Specialist within ten (10) calendar days after initial publication of this notice. Information received will be solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no affirmative response is received from another source within ten days, a contract will be negotiated and awarded to JCAHO.
