- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. The solicitation is now available on FedBizOpps. The Department of Education is seeking a solution that would allow the Office of Migrant Education to (1) leverage existing technology (at the State level) and applications to securely exchange student records on a nationwide basis, (2) protect the student's personal information, and (3) provide national level ad hoc and standard reports. OME is interested in technology that would define, implement, and maintain identity management (or a unique identifier among so many systems). OME is also interested in providing this capability to institutions that do not currently have/use any existing State applications to track and report migrant students and would be interested in technology that could be securely accessed via the Internet to enter and share data with existing State-based applications and technology.
