Description

The 341st Contracting Squadron, Malmstrom Air Force Base, MT intends to award a sole source contract to Onan Corporation to furnish the following: CLIN0001: Generators/Switches (Diesel Genset: 60hZ-80/70kW 50hZ-65/60kW.) The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 335311 with a business size standard of 750 employees. The proposed contract is for items for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within three days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
