- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number GED-RFQ-5292, this is not a small business set-aside, however one of the primary evaluation factors is achieving the agency?s socio-economic goals. NAICS 339111, Standard size 500. Nomenclature: Ultra Low Freezer, Quantity: 1 each, UNIT MUST REACH -70 AND HAVE MOTOR, COMPRESSOR AND CONTROLS MOUNTED ON TOP. The system shall meet all of the following criteria: Must be able to maintain -70C for prolonged periods of time. Inside capacity between 20 and 25 cubic feet of USABLE storage space. Temperature range from -40C to -70C (lower temperatures are allowed). Hinged door with air tight gasket and key lock on handle. Motor to be 2 HP. Manual defrost. Must operate on 210V (208 to 220), 60 Hz, 15 amp breaker. Interior chamber to come with 5 shelves each with its OWN door. Unit must be upright. Units must have solid state control system. Units must have LED temperature display. Units must have key operated ON/OFF switch. Units must have low voltage safeguard. Units must have audible built-in alarm system. Units should have motor, compressor, and controls ON TOP. All of these criteria are required for the safe application of the instrument. Due to the serious use of this product prototypes or untested units will not be considered. The following provisions apply: 52.212-1 - Instruction to Offerors ?
