- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While is it understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopses and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase the following equipment on a sole source basis from Curtiss Wright Controls Embedded Computing (CWCEC), 9605 Scranton Road, Suite 700, San Diego, CA 92121-1773: PN DMV-A05-3-6930, SBC VME ? VYRF Dual PPC7457 @ 1 GHz w/133 MHz memory controller, 4 MB Backside Cache (6:1 ratio), 1 GB SDRAM, VME64x, PO Connector, (2) StarFabric channels (Rear), Battery-backed CLK/CAL w 128 KB NVRAM, 64 MB Flash w/AltBoot, Local I/O Power +3.3v, PMC +3.3v, LevelL200 Ruggedization, Conformal Coating, -40 to +85C operating temp @ Internal Metal Contact, Single Wide Conduction-cooled Heat Frame, (2) PMC sites, (2) 10/100 BaseT Ethernet ports (Rear), (2) IEEE 1394 (Rear), (2) RS423-232D UART Serial Ports (Rear). Includes an Allen wrench to work the wedge-lok which locks the board into its slot. INTEGRITY 5.0 Dual Processor Board Support package (BSP) CD ROM ? Includes Integrity 5.0 board support binaries and utilities for CWC/Synergy Dual processor single-board computer (SBC). Includes STAR/ASTRix Bootloader and diagnostics downloaded into on-board BOOT Flash. For Discovery-based boards (6 EACH); PN PCA-A11-0-6232, Transition module for the VYRF SBCs with (2) PIM sites, Level LO Ruggedization, 0 to plus 50 C operating temperature (2 Each); PN MNT-A10-0-5597, Maintenance Agreement for DSW-A10-0-7092, DSW-A10-0-7800 Linux distributions ? 12 months BSP updates for one site and one project, as released by Curtiss-Wright and twelve months of technical telephone/helpdesk. Support limited to 2 designated contacts per site/project (1 EACH). A sole source procurement is necessary because the system is a unique configuration tailored to emulate the functionality and form factor of the In-Service Firefinder Radar Processor. These items are to be designed to replace the current In-Service processor with (1) single board computer and (4) Vector Signal Processor boards. This is required to facilitate a technology insertion for performance improvement and life cycle support and the items must be exact functional and form factor duplicates of the pre-existing current boards presently integrated into NSWCDD rehost development systems. Award is to be made under simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13 on an all or none basis. The closing date is 24 October 2005. Anticipated award date is 28 October 2005. Pricing should be FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. THE GOVERNMENT SHALL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR! QUOTATION AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY (CBD) NOTICE. Applicable NAICS code is 334418. The Government will award a purchase order from this combined synopsis/solicitation to Curtiss Wright Controls Embedded Computing (CWCEC).
