This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The National Park Service, Department of Interior intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) to provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials and services for janitorial services at Liberty Square at Fort Sumter National Monument in Sullivans Island, South Carolina. Janitorial service is required to provide a safe, sanitary, environmentally protective, and esthetically pleasing environment, which includes the removal of trash and debris, the cleaning of restrooms, glass doors and windows, exhibits, HVAC grills, floors-interior carpet & tile, walls-interior, surfaces-exterior, and the elevator. This is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS Code for the project is 561720 and small business size standard is $14.0 million. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the price range for this project is between $25,000 to $100,000. Solicitation Number Q5430060002. Tentative issue date for RFQ is 11/04/2005. A firm fixed commercial order will be issued. Anticipated award date will be on or about 12/02/2005.
