Description: The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity, on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security, has a requirement to fund annual maintenance and support for the American National Standard Institute (ANSI) Homeland Security standards database, a nd to obtain full membership in American National Standard Institute. The intent is to make a sole source award pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document exists. Any firm that belie ves it can provide the stated capability within the established timeframe is invited to submit written notification to the Contracting Officer within fifteen calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the firms ability to provide the stated capability within the established timeframe. Information can be sent to the Contracting Specialist, Colleen Barnes, at: colleen.barnes@amedd.army.mil. No telephone requests will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, US AMRAA will proceed with the sole source contract.
